For more than 60 years, the Colton family has served Western New York. Founded in 1962 by Bill Colton in Buffalo, NY, Colton Auto began as a craftsman-driven business specializing in custom interiors, antique vehicles, vans, and high-quality upholstery work. From the beginning, attention to detail and pride in workmanship defined the Colton approach.

In 1992, Colton expanded into recreational vehicles, marking a major milestone and the beginning of significant growth for the company. As demand increased, Colton continued to evolve, building a strong reputation for selection, service, and long-term customer relationships throughout the Buffalo market. By 2001, Colton constructed a new facility on Niagara Falls Boulevard, expanding across more than 15 acres. This growth allowed the Colton team to increase inventory, enhance the customer experience, and double sales within just a few short years.

Throughout the following decade, Colton continued to expand within Western New York, opening additional locations and strengthening its presence across the region. Each expansion reinforced the company’s core values: honest guidance, dependable service, and a commitment to treating customers like family. As customer lifestyles and recreational interests evolved, Colton expanded into the marine market in 2023, bringing its proven dealership experience to boat sales while maintaining its established RV operations.
